Infants & Toddlers Up To Age 3
Our youngest friends are welcome in the nursery, where they are well-cared for by experienced staff and volunteers in a loving, safe environment. Kids build connections with others, listen to fun faith music, play, snack, and receive lots of love. Room 213, on the Main floor. For this age group, you’re encouraged to bring food, milk, etc. that work for your child; we always have cheerios on hand! Children are also welcome to stay with their grown-up(s) if you prefer, in the sanctuary or in the “Lullaby” cry room in the balcony suited with rocking chairs.
Children Age 3 Up To 5th Grade
Preschool and elementary age children are invited to sing, dance, and worship with the intergenerational congregation at the beginning of the 9:30 worship service in the sanctuary. After opening songs and prayer, children are escorted to their respective Sunday School classrooms (Rooms 110 & 112) where they learn about God’s love through Bible stories, games, and crafts with their peers and caring adults. Snack provided.
Children’s Free Play & Fellowship takes place in room 112 — a supervised, safe space for children between services.
Children Worship & Wonder is a worship service intentionally designed for children — including song, Bible story, hands-on response time, fellowship, prayer, and snack. Rooms 112 & 115.
Children are welcome to join for the entire morning's activities or a portion of them. If kids stay for the full morning, they will be escorted from Sunday School to Children’s Free Play & Fellowship, then to Children Worship & Wonder.
Special events for children include: the Joyful Singers choir sharing music in worship services, Trunk or Treat, family meetups, activities for Advent and Lent (to prepare for Christmas and Easter), Christmas and Easter celebrations, grade level Promotion Sunday, and Vacation Bible Fest!
A library of children’s books and DVDs is located in Room 111. You are invited to check out items and utilize this wonderful resource.
