Volunteer Opportunities
Coffee Hour Volunteers
Each Sunday at 12:00 pm we have a time of fellowship during the Coffee Hour. Volunteers are always welcome and needed to serve the coffee and punch to our members and guests and then clean-up by returning supplies to the staff kitchen. Please contact the church office to volunteer, 503-363-9273.
Scroll Folder Volunteers
Twice a month on Wednesday at 10:00 am a dedicated, rotating group of people help insert and tri-fold our semi-monthly newsletter, The Church Scroll. Only 45 minutes of your time rewards you with scintillating conversation, hot coffee and fresh warm cinnamon rolls. Please contact the church office to volunteer, 503-363-9273.
Write Letter to Visitors
Each week we get a list of visitors. We need people to write letters to them. Samples are available.
Sort and File Music
After choir music has been used, it needs to be returned to the files. For more information, contact Judy Dyer
Keynote Speakers for Young Adult Events
10 - 20 Minute program or devotion of interest to young adults. Contact David Brown
Children's Ministry Volunteers
If you would like to help with ministry to our children there are needs for both Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
Interfaith Hospitality Network
A way to help homeless families get on their feet. Each time we host, we need: 2 people to prepare and serve dinner for about 10 people, 2 people to host evening activities and 2 people to spend the night with the families. Contact person: Susan Latham
Habitat for Humanity
On the first Saturday of each month we help in the building of a home. Sign up is in the Chalice entry.
