Do you enjoy knitting or crocheting and fellowship? You are invited to join us. We knit and crochet prayer shawls for anyone who is going through health issues or rough times and need a shawl of comfort and prayer wrapped around them.

Summertime is here and once again this year we are honored to host the Salem IHN families. There are many hosting opportunities during the week to show the families the love of Christ thru preparing a meal, hanging out with the families as a host or providing support as an overnight host. It is truly a wonderful experience showing the families love and support by just being there. The sign-up board is in the Narthex on Sundays or feel free to contact Michelle in the office!

The children will not want to miss Hero Central VBS. The kids will go on awesome adventures alongside some of their favorite Bible heroes and discover the qualities that make us truly heroic in God. VBS Hero Central has epic music, spectacular science, crafty crafts, heroic recreation, and fantastic Bible stories to help kids discover their strength in God.

VBS Hero Central schedule:
Friday, July 14: 5 pm Dinner - 6 pm VBS begins until 8:30 pm
Saturday, July 15: 9 am until 4 pm - preschoolers (3-4 years old) will leave at 1 pm
Sunday, July 16: Worship Service 9:30 am - Celebration at Riverfront Park 4 pm

After ONE Worship service at 10 am we will service projects. The projects range from making encouragement cards to working at the Marion Polk Food Share warehouse. There will be projects available for all ages, skills and abilities. This Sunday is a very special Sunday, giving back and making a difference in the lives of people in our community. This is a great Sunday to invite family and friends to join in!

These quilts are donated to the Portland VA Hospital and locally to Family Building Blocks, Liberty House, and Helping Hands.
