Beyond Salem
Annually the Middle and High School youth participate in a Mission trip. They have served in New Orleans, Mexico, Salem and Yakama Mission, rebuilding homes and churches.
Every other year, our congregation sponsors a work trip to Ecuador. In 2007 they helped build a church and visited the sheep, chicken and strawberry projects that we have supported. Our next trip will be in the summer of 2009. Contact person is Rick Ikeda.
Through work trips and offerings, we help support the work of
Yakama Mission. For more information go to: www.yakamamission.org
Through our Week of Compassion offering, we are able to offer
assistance around the world whenever the need arises. The offering emphasis is in February, but contributions can be made at anytime. For more information go to: www.weekofcompassion.org
